Welcome to Book 2 of the FiberFrau Series of patterns. Once again FiberFrau presents scarf designs for hand knitting. One scarf features ribbed shaping at the neck and duplicate stitch embroidery. Some of the scarves in this book require more advanced skills than those in Book 1 (Knitted Scarves for Everyone.) The following basic knitting skills are assumed: knit, purl, cast on, cast off, and change colors at the beginning of a row. Each of these designs also includes something special: duplicate stitch embroidery, ribbing, and/or seed stitch. Kimberly Schimmel graduated magna cum laude from North Carolina Central University with a Master of Library Science degree and serves as librarian at her church.
