The author has added an article about student research and writing skills to the newest edition of this book. The author graduated magna cum laude from North Carolina Central University with a Master of Library Science degree. She also earned a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from Purdue University. Her teaching experience includes home schooling grades kindergarten through twelve and teaching all ages at various times in church programs. She also serves as a church librarian.
