Eden’s Children is the fourth book in the Children’s Poems for Grown-ups and Vice Versa series. It deals with the re-telling of the story of Adam and Eve. The poem closely follows the Bible’s sequence of events, but from the point of view of its two human protagonists, and offers an alternative motive behind “The Fall.” Like every book in this series, Eden’s Children aims to entertain through its rhymes and illustrations while broadening the young readers’ outlook and vocabulary. The poems also introduce them to a variety of tones and rhetorical techniques with the general goal of developing their interest in the world of literature.
