His songs have been recorded by over 40 artists. Some of the more notable ones are as follows: Rick Nelson: "Lonesome Town", "I Got a Feelin'", and "There'll Never be Anyone Else But You." Dean Martin: "Somewhere There's a Someone" and "Nobody's Baby Again." Elvis Presley: "The Wonder of You" that was a Two Million Performance Award winner. Mickey Giley: "Don't the Girls All Get Prettier at Closing Time" that won Song of the Year in 1976. Some of the other artists who recorded Baker Knight songs are Perry Como, Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis, Jr., Hank Williams Jr., Paul McCartney, Bobby Vinton, and Eddy Arnold. Paul said "I met Baker by chance and we became friends. He was a very kind man who was caring and giving. I'll always remember him for all the great songs that he left us but more importantly his gift of giving."
