This story is about a young lady named Grace and her relationship with her step-mother, whose name is Mabel. Mabel’s character is that of a strong woman, but she has issues. The attributes of Grace’s step-mother can be seen in some women today, and in this story, they are also seen in Grace at one point. For the most part, Grace has a good life, and she is a nice and sweet girl. However, when Grace is faced with certain challenges in her life she is not so nice and sweet. Things happen that can cause us all to get that way at times. Then, something wonderful, something beautiful can happen to us that changes everything. Our lives change, and we become the person God meant for us to be. The old way of handling things in our own strength goes away. God gives us a new strength, a strength that is greater than our own, and it is called Grace. With Grace in our system, we become better people, we affect situations for the better.
