Jimmy Riley was once a productive member of society. He had a wife, a good job, friends, and a life that meant something. He always had enough money to pay the bills, put gas in the vehicles, and have plenty left over to do the fun things in life. He never worried about doing without. Not once did he even think that his life would stoop so low that he would have to ask for handouts and panhandle for his existence. Suddenly, it all came apart. He was thrust into the bowels of homelessness with out a penny to his name. Panhandling and begging became his life until one fateful night at an event that was meant to be a fun time his life was changed forever. I have always enjoyed writing stories and dreamed of becoming a published author. Since retiring, I have accomplished my dream. I have a wonderful wife of 33 years, three great kids and three amazing grandchildren. Besides writing, I love to golf, bowl, and spend time with my family. My favorite places are the Oregon beach in the summer and Las Vegas anytime.
