In these turbulent times of war and continued reference to the “end of days,” several researchers look to the Bible Code for hidden prophecies about our future. A renowned iconographic mathematics professor, Dr. Josh Sails, stumbles upon undiscovered Mayan references in the Bible Code, which lead him to find hidden Mayan symbols. Locating the symbols provides evidence that the end date of the Mayan calendar, December 21, 2012, is the actual date when the world will end. The symbols may offer help in averting disaster if only their complex encryption can be deciphered. Professor Sails also finds his name connected with the name of the other central character, Special Agent Katherine Natan, in the same Mayan Bible Matrices. Natan is an agent working for the National Security Agency, focusing on counter-terrorism and, unbeknownst to her, is the key to preventing the Apocalypse. Months earlier she prevented a terrorist attack on a major U.S. city, using her undiscovered psychic talents. Because of this, she is secretly under investigation by the head of the N.S.A., James Baxter, for connections to terrorism. Realizing the significance of Agent Natan in preventing Armageddon, Professor Sails seeks her out. He explains that she has ties to the Bible Code and convinces her, against N.S.A. protocol and her own beliefs, to help him, which further complicates her work situation and her life. With only a few years remaining to try and stop the inevitable, Natan assists Professor Sails in uncovering other details about her involvement, along with any information that may help the two of them prevent this impending doom. Together, they must secretly review the past, dealing with their personal demons and those of history, find their place as pieces in this life-or-death puzzle, uncover hidden paranormal events connected to the Bible Code and the End Date, and decode the Mayan symbols that began their journey to avert the disaster that awaits the entire world on December 21, 2012.
