An infinite number of places to hunt for lost treasures exist. During the early days of metal detecting, many sites were virtually untouched by those intent on recovering coins, jewelry, and other valuable items. As a result, some of these locations yielded hundreds of dollars worth of lost coins and other valuable and interesting items over time. These days, finding a site that has not been previously worked is often difficult. As a result of new and improved metal detector technology, some older sites can be hunted a second and third time with great success. On the other hand, creative treasure hunters are always looking for and finding new and untouched locations to search. Included in this book are many that have proven successful, profitable, and relatively easy to travel to.
