The decade of the 1970s was a time of great moral upheaval in America. Marital and gender roles were in flux, along with other cultural norms and systems. Hector Fritch is right in the middle of all the Middle Class angst as he also struggles with the attendant demons of assembly-line drudgery. Like Baby Boomers everywhere, he tries to balance the general decline in expectations while trying to have a little fun that the "sexual revolution" had supposedly promised. Like any other form of binge, there may be a hang-over. Will the "party" of the '70s have consequences as well? And how will these land on Hector?
