The case includes his personal testimony about the Austrian Anschluss and the Jewish question, and also include evidence about the nazification of Holland, forced labour and the Dutch famine in 1944.Von Papen was briefly the Chancellor of Germany in 1932, then served as Vice-Chancellor under Hitler in 1933-34. During the war he was Ambassador to Turkey. Alfred Speer was Hitler’s architect and the minister of Armaments and War Production. He was one of the few men who accepted some responsibility for his actions during the war.
