Adam Block is about to have the worst last night of his life. Adam wakes up alone and disoriented, trapped in his decaying city apartment with a large gap in his memory. He hopes to find some answers when Emma appears, as if from nowhere. Outwardly an innocent child, it soon becomes clear that there's more to this peculiar stranger than meets the eye. In the course of a single evening Adam finds horror, sorrow, mystery, some welcome humor, and an unexplainable tragedy involving his otherworldly visitor.
