The Merlin was a tittle and the boy assumed it through necessity rather than ambition. The island school was destroyed by the Roman occupiers but his career would continue. The meandering old man whom the boy became had a home nowhere but a cause as old as the many hills of the lands of the Britons. Myrddin was his tittle yet after beginning a war in the Summerland it became his name and with the spirit world, once so present, now no more than a memory and with The Romans pulling back Myddin took on the challenge of raising a kingdom and a new king. With Saxon incursions and the ever present threat of war between the tribes will the fledgling kingdom survive it's first battle. The Morrigan watches her prey come to her as the Goddess queen of death.
