In the mid 1800s, crooked gamblers, cattle rustlers, thieves and murders seek and find shelter within the Choctaw Indian Nation escaping white man’s law. Amidst a backdrop of lawlessness, Amos Trigg, uncommonly rich by being a contributor to countless nefarious acts, has a daughter, Eva, who struggles during her entire life to find honesty, love and maybe somewhere ‘a better life.’
