The Deadly Sting: The Research of the Assassination of Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin (Political Assassinations) (English Edition) [Kindle-editie]

The book "The Deadly Sting" is the fruit of continuous and based on presence of the assassination of Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin. It is communication with during a number of appearances of Yigal Amir in court, on of journalistic a number of people involved in the affair and on collection documentation and its analysis murder and presents The author, Natan Gefen, observes the official version of the including gunshot a number of significant ontradictions in the police files, used and the distance signs, the time of the event as well as the type of weapon from the shooter to the victim. The research is based mainly on medical documentation by the doctors at Ichilov Hospital, to which Rabin was taken. The author was assisted by an experienced doctor in the field of patients who are victims of shootings, who helped to analyze this documentation in addition to the pathologist’s report and media interviews with doctors who treated the late Prime Minister. From the medical observations it would seem that the main part of the even was that Rabin was injured, taken to the hospital showing a lone shot wound that entered from the front; a chest wound that led to his death. Analysis of the circumstances leads to the conclusion that there was a tragic failure. The most probably possibility is that the critical atmosphere toward Rabin’s political platform by the radical right wing – an atmosphere that was found to be ‘inciteful’, brought his friends from the ‘left wing’ to the ‘sting’, in order to implicate the ‘right’. Together with this, the author –Natan Gefen- has no concrete theory as to why the plan went wrong. He presents two possibilities. One is that the ‘sting’ just went wrong and actually caused Rabin’s death rather than ‘just’ incriminating the opposition. And two, that there actually was a plan to have him assassinated. Right from the initial reports, on the night of Rabin’s murder, the author identified a number of contradictions, significant contradictions that encouraged him to delve deeper in order to understand the event. The rest is history. In spite of his long-time involvement in presenting the contradictions to the official version, and even though some senior journalists have approached different officials to prove his claims wrong, even after so many years, no official document has yet disproved the claims made by the author in this book. Natan Gefen, b. 1948, married and the father of 2 children, is a mathematician (Tel Aviv University) and his main occupation is program engineering. In the mid-1970’s he worked for a security and investigation service. For the sake of full disclosure, during those years, Mr. Gefen was a political activist for the independent Liberal party.
