Richard Dawkins's 'The God Delusion' (TGD ) ranks as one of the most powerful books written in the last ten years; supporting and advocating the atheist position. It was written with total conviction and has been hailed as the ultimate 'tour de force of anti God sentiment. Therefore any argument against his conclusion requires and deserves detailed logical justification. In order to successfully counter Dawkins's book every point made must be examined. His book is essentially anti Christian, although all Abrihamic faiths are mercilessly belittled. 'Ten years after' is a page by page Christian critique of every aspect of the articulate and apparently seductive influence Dawkins has enjoyed with his TGD. This has not been as difficult as first envisaged for despite the length of TGD (420 pages in the paperback edition) he has submitted only six, possibly seven core reasons for advocating an atheist view. The remainder of his book consists of the weaving of opinion from fellow atheists in support of these core points and the belittling of some of the more bizarre beliefs associated with fringe Christianity, Islam and Judaism. 'Ten years after' claims to have addressed, countered and answered every one of these core points.
