SMALL IS JUST 'ALL' ADDED TO 'SMALL' Despise not the day of small beginnings because you can make all your mistakes anonymously. Value the little things. One day you may look back and realize they were the big things. Dante Alighieri said that from a little spark may burst a mighty flame. It is Hellen Keller who said to her audience that she long to accomplish a great and noble task, but it is her chief duty to accomplish small tasks as if they were great and noble. David Storey said, ‘’Have confidence that if you have done a little thing well, you could do a bigger thing well, too.’’ Small deeds done are better than great deeds planned. I believe that we should care just as much about the small things in our lives as the big thing. Why? If we are faithful in the small things, the big things will take care of themselves. One thing is certain. What is not tried will not work. Remember this on your way up: The biggest dog was once a pup. Thomas Huxley said that the rung of a ladder was never meant to rest upon, but to enable a man to put his other foot higher. The most important thing is to begin, even though the first step is the hardest.
