And a very merry Walpurgisnacht to you all! Or Beltane, if you prefer. This week we see the continuation of Lovecraft’s Dream-Quest of Unknown Kadath in which our hapless hero hears of the terrible night-gaunts – faceless black-skinned horned winged horrors who (most terrifyingly of all) tickle people! More bizarre wonders await as Randolph Carter continues to explore the lands of Dream.Following this is a tale of bloodthirsty murder in the line of ecclesiastical duty in God’s Servant by Samantha Stevens-Clay. Zak Dawson’s Dominion continues with the narrator encountering the terrible Shadow-Man while Stranglehold by Albert Betzer reaches a bloody close. We also have Doctor Kim by Stephen Hernandez, a story of sadism, surgery and things even more bizarre; Rob Bliss’ Second Wife, which brings a new twist to an old tale; and more poetry from Nathan Rowark, whose horror story Regressive features in Bizarro Press’ new anthology Tall Tales with Short Cocks, which will be out in May. Continuing in this edition: Ayame’s Love, where Ayame listens to Anton’s story; Run To The Hills, where Walwain learns what horrors lurk in the highlands of Caledonia; and of course, Varney the Vampyre and After London. That’s all for now; off to the Brocken for fun and frolics with witches and demons!-Gavin Chappell
