Nothing like this book exists anywhere. It starts out innocently enough... There are back stories for some earlier New Testament events, which pretty closely parallel the actual biblical narrations. Light, harmless prose. Then, a BIG change happens... Chapter 7 begins... Then Chapter 8. There is NOTHING like Chapter 8 in the New Testament. (The author fears excommunication because of the writings and ideas in Chapter 8.) The remaining chapters present new and creative insights. If you are looking for new thinking for your spiritual journey, or are trying to make sense from the conflicts in the Bible, give this book a try. On the other hand... If you believe every word in the Bible needs to be taken literally, you might think it is blasphemy. If you do NOT believe in evolution... You will see new ideas which bridge scriptural writings with science. If you think the face of God has two eyes, one nose, a mouth and two ears... You may be surprised by this books insights. This fictional book is a highly creative work which will be cherished by open minded free thinkers. Good luck to all of us who are on spiritual journeys. Perhaps this book can help. The author expects negative reviews from some who are threatened by its creative insights.
