A wide range of subjects are covered in this collection of contemporary poems. I have tried to express my desire for world peace in "On Foreign Soil", caring for wildlife and animals in "The Hunter", the environment in "Mr. Tree" and for my fellow human beings in "The Land Of Competition" and "Sometimes I Wonder". Then there is "Band Together", which could be a rap song or a poem. In it I tried to express the idea of a brotherhood of all people of all races and faiths. There is also a Christmas song/poem called "It's Christmas Time Again". Another poem is about giving to charities, it is called "The Christmas Bell". This one takes place at Christmas time in a grocery store. My frustration with the unfair treatment of workers by their employers and over taxation by the government comes out in some of my poems too like "Send Me An Umbrella".
