The story of a suicidal Qantas 747 pilot who was still cleared to fly by Qantas doctors while mentally ill. His compulsive thoughts were to shut down all four 747 engines. For two years Qantas passengers in an aircraft with him as a crew member were at risk of being killed in an inferno if he had weakened. At least four Qantas pilots have committed suicide showing mental illness in pilots does exist. This book explains the determination of Bryan Griffin to take Qantas to court and even though the first arbitrator Derik Minus ( who interpreted the medical reports wrongly) dismissed his claim. In an appeal even again with the false reports by Qantas counsel John Catsanos and solicitor John Bell the court now made a decision in his favour.
