County-by-county estimates of radioactive fallout from specific nuclear devices detonated at the Nevada Test Site, 1951-1970. Fallout is listed for each county in terms of nano-Curies per square meter, the name of the device that produced the fallout, and the day the fallout event occurred. For example: County: AZ Coconino-1 (first subdivision of Coconino County, Arizona) nCi/sq meter: 46410.5 Nuclear Test/Day: TS6-1 (first day after the sixth nuclear test in the Tumbler-Snapper series) Date: 25 May-1952 The data was based on Iodine-131 values found in the National Cancer Institute's 1997 report:” Estimated Exposures and Thyroid Doses Received by The American People from Iodine-131 in Fallout Following Nevada Atmospheric Nuclear Bomb Tests” as well as documents by Harry Hicks of Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory: “Results of Calculations of External Gamma Radiation Exposure Rates from Fallout and The Related Radionuclide Compositions”.
