Mistaken Identity is the third in the series of humorous novels about the life, escapades and legal exploits C. Bruce West, a young, up and coming attorney. Bruce is hired by a prostitute to represent her son who is charged with armed robbery. Although his client has a long history of similar offenses and the victim has positively identified him, Bruce is convinced that the victim is mistaken about the identification. Convincing the jury is the problem. Bruce is forced to examine the dynamics that are at work in the structure of the city’s African American community.
