This short story imagines the scenario of an independent Scotland and one of the likely consequences. By the time you read this the future of Scotland may well have been decided but no doubt a lot of talking will remain to be done, if Scots have decided to plough their own furrow, including the detail of the scenario I have imagined here. I doubt the reality will be quite like this.
