Jonathan and his lover, tattooed, surfer Rube, live in the village of Juan Diego on the Sea of Cortez, Mexico. His ‘other-self’ has returned in the guise of a human toothed talking dog, Perro, a Bomb and Bucket Head. Rube and Jonathan partake, with Mexican and expats, in afternoon tribal bar and beach meetings. They gossip and tell tales of village life and a lost shrine in the Sierra Madras jungle. Intrigue, mystery and death drive muddled Jonathan and his vagabond partners on an adventure into the Sierra Madras. They confront what they were not looking for, their destiny.
