Dr. Juarez is a retired psychologist and aspiring poet, whose sole regret is the difference between his chronological and mental ages. Prior to this poetry volume he has published exclusively in professional journals. He was, for 43 years, a school psychologist, university professor and psychologist trainer. He began writing poetry to occupy himself in retirement and persists in this pursuit on the theory that somewhere, on a planet of more than 5 billion inhabitants, there exists an audience for his work.
