Safe on the Vampire Home World Vradic must defeat every challenge. He needs the strength fresh feeding gives him. The epic love story of Jeanne Rose and Lord Vradic of the House of Nar continues. He is vampire and she is human. Their bond is unbreakable. Though Vradic spent years protecting her in the wilds of space, now they are on his home world. The rules are different. Any male can issue a challenge for a female prior to the bonding ceremony. He must defeat every vampire who challenges for her hand, if he wants to keep her at his side. Unfortunately, the more his people see his little love mate in public, the more challenges he gets for her hand. They both know he needs the strength that fresh feeding affords, in order to be victorious in battle. Today, Jeanne struggles to overcome her fears about being bitten. Sitting on his lap, she kisses him. Her gentleness is apparent in her gentle caress along his cheek, and the way she sifts her fingers through his hair. Vradic he always loved it when she touched his hair. Jeanne was always kind and sweet towards him. Though Vradic was large and tough enough to defeat most warriors, he needed gentleness in his life as well. He had long since realized that he needed the tenderness his little love mate had to offer. His kisses drift from her lips to her cheek, and down to her beautiful pale neck. Being this close, he could feel the vein in her neck throbbing, and was drawn to it. Taking his time, he ran his lips and tongue over the vein. It was difficult to hold back from biting her. He slowly ran his teeth down the column of her neck, barely grazing the skin. His beautiful little mate curled herself around his upper torso. She made soft mewing sounds that only a woman would make, as he touched her. She warned, “Stop teasing me, or I will find another warrior to feed.” Vradic smiled and stepped up his sensual assault. He pulled her close in a possessive embrace and growled, “Mine.” Pulling the soft silk gown off her shoulder, he kissed his way over her shoulder, and back up to the vein he wanted.
