The TERMS were an up-and-coming rock band. Their music was being played on 85 radio stations nationwide; the re-release of their CD, Small Town Computer Crash, made the Billboard Charts in April of 2006; they enjoyed successful tours in the South as well as the East and West Coast; their music producer was a Grammy award winner with proven success; they were named the “Best New Band of 2006,” and they were scheduled to perform on national television on The Megan Mullally Show. Life was good. But on September 30, 2006, that would change. That evening the band was involved in a devastating car accident. Three of the band members were seriously injured. Brandon Young, their bass player, suffered a traumatic brain injury. This is their story of achievement, of heartache, of struggle, of determination, of perseverance, and, yes, of triumph.
