Daisy, Maisie, and Tallulah Winters have come a long way. . .sort of. Yes, they all three did finish their Distance Learning Courses. So, yes, they all three can legitimately to call themselves Confidential Agents. They even have some paying clients. So yes, they are financially independent and semi-solvent. Everything seems great until Anita Holtzman came walking in, telling them that she’s on the verge of being accused. . .and arrested. . .for murdering her cheating husband Herb and his paramour Laura Ross at the Red Roof Motel, and wants them to prove her innocence. The Triplets are about to learn some hard-won lessons, among them: Lesson Number One: Nothing’s as easy as it seems. Lesson Number Two: Be careful what you wish for. Lesson Number Three: If things seem to be going well, something will come along and ruin it. Lesson Number Four: When disaster hits, ducking, hiding, and pretending it didn’t, won’t work. Lesson Number Five: No case is over until every t is crossed and i is dotted (and Daisy, no, not with “cute little hearts” either). Lesson Number Six: You can’t trust the police’s solution to be the one that makes your client (or your Sister) happy. Lesson Number Seven: When faced with a blackmailer: A] have Daisy try and charm them, B] have Maisie try and finesse them, C] and when all else fails, sic Tallulah on them.
