The true story of two brothers raising each other on the streets of Calcutta, through the dearth of poverty. When sharing their experiences of pain and joy they begin to realize the importance of their relationship. While growing up, destiny separates them and the journey to survive on the street is no longer easy. Years later they come back for each other and visit their childhood. Throughout their journey, the reader gets a glimpse of life for the poor, or "the less fortunate." And just how different their perspective on the world can be. The book shows the world from the eyes of a young boy on the streets.
