Issue #97 has a cover story/interview with Chris Isaak on his recent new CD recorded in part at the Sun Studio in Memphis! We also have a story on Western Michigan garage bands the Aardvarks, the Mussies, Poor Boys Pride (and the Creations) and The Five Emprees - tied together with editor/publisher Marc Bristol's own experiences in garage bands that touched upon each of these other groups. We have a piece on Ron Holden & The Playboys - Ron's big hits were "Love You So" and "My Babe", and a short story on Doo-Woppers Edward Union & The Volumes. We also have color photo layouts on the Crescent City Blues Festival and various other events by Jef Jaisun and on the Rockin Seattle Scene plus an Elvis Birthday Tribute show. And of course our usual features the Tidbit Jukebox, Original Versions and our extensive reviews section!
