Between Two Thorns is set primarily in France from 1947 to 1949. The story follows the induction of a young British ex-serviceman into the dangerous post war world of the black market. With the back drop of France's political turmoil of that time, the main character meets collaborators, communists, artists, spies and members of a sinister secret organisation. We witness his fall from innocence. Detailed research and the inclusion of actual characters and events will lead the reader to wonder which parts of the story are fiction and which are fact. The fast moving tale creates a book that cannot be put down, ignored, or easily forgotten. Prepare to be shocked, saddened, challenged and entertained.
