“Beasts of the Soul” centers around three individuals. The main character’s name is Thomas. Just after the revolutionary war, he and his family were attacked by a werewolf. The lone survivor, he himself became a werewolf. Ever since, he has struggled to validate his existence by using his super-human powers to fight evil around the world. However, during every full moon, he loses control of the beast within him, leaving the werewolf to commit unspeakable atrocities. With each such instance, the gulf between him and the beast inside grows narrower and narrower, with the beast threatening to claim his soul. The second major character, Adam, was the leader of New York’s most elite SWAT team unit until his family was brutally murdered as a direct result of his position. Adam chose to leave the SWAT team, and now leads a special “Zero-Tolerance” military unit that utilizes state of the art weapons and armor to fight terrorist sects throughout the country. He now lives for the express purpose of bringing death to those like the ones who took his family. His line between vengeance and justice has shattered and taken his soul along with it. The last major character, Ezekiel, is a centuries old vampire. Dating back to the crucifixion, he desires to take what he believes is his rightful place as ruler of the world. With practically limitless power and a vast army of vampires, Ezekiel’s only remaining battle is to convince Thomas to give in to the beast within him and join his forces. In order to defeat Ezekiel and his reign of ultimate evil, Thomas and Adam must both make peace with the beasts in their souls.
