John Alvin Derrick meets a man on a train who has the exact same name as his. John figures with the world's population it was not unthinkable for two men to share names. John can't wait to get home to see his wife Mary. To his great surprise he discovers that his travelling partner says he has a wife named Mary. John doesn't admit to having the same. When the train reaches John's destination, the man asks John if he could mail a letter at the station. When John is about to put the letter in the box he sees that the letter is addressed to his wife Mary, at his address. John has questions.
