The story of Libbe as a young girl and her horrific encounter with a crazed stepmother - a holocaust survivor, who developed an irrational hatred towards Libbe. Enthralled by this new relationship, her loving father distances himself from Libbe, oftentimes leaving Libbe alone in her stepmother's care for weeks at a time. We are shown the pain and torment she endured as seen through Libbe's 8 year old eyes and the dismay caused by her father's ever increasing distance as she begins to realize she is no longer daddy's little girl.
