From my earliest recollections verses written for children fascinated me. However, there was no great abundance of children’s poetry in my childhood. Over the years I have searched in bookstores and libraries for this type of children’s literature and have come to the conclusion that there is still a great need in this area of writing. The first section of the book speaks to the child – child’s interpretation of his or her world. The second section is written from the point of view of a parent, and the third from a grand-parents point of view.
