Writing is a hard job, made even harder when the well goes dry. The well being the part of the brain that holds new story ideas, even new chapter ideas, or just a new scene idea. This writing prompt book can refill that empty well for you. (No use of needles required.) Inside this book you'll find simple writing prompts that give you a base idea, more detailed ones that give you settings and characters to go along with the prompt, as well as longer story starters that toss you into a scene already well underway and let you take over. Other prompts are in place to help you build your writing muscles with a little exercise. There's also a short section on time saving so you can write more, and battling that editor on your shoulder who keeps you second guessing yourself. At the end of the book you'll find a very helpful character chart that you can use to get in touch with even the weakest characters. I hope you have as much fun using these prompts as I did writing them. Best wishes and happy writing!
