Onuora, who was born in Scotland to Nigerian parents was a late starter in football having studied Economics at Bradford University. He went on to play over 450 football league games for Huddersfield, Swindon and Gillingham before hanging up his playing boots in 2004. Thereafter, Onuora bccame a UEFA qualified coach and gained his Pro Licence in 2006. He spent time in charge of Swindon Town and Lincoln City before being approached and subsequently appointed as national team coach for Ethiopia. The book charts his remarkable journey across Africa and highlights Onuora's personal experience of the poverty, problems and passion of a nation that yearns success on the football field.
