The Cycle of the Soul (English Edition) [Kindle-editie]

The first two titles by Jozef Rulof ‘A View into the Hereafter’ and ‘The Bridge to Eternal Life’ present the first principle for the development of our spiritual feeling and thinking: there is life after death. In ‘The Cycle of the Soul’ we become acquainted with the second foundation: reincarnation. Jozef Rulof received this wonderful novel in three parts from the spirit Lantos. In the first part Lantos tells about his last life on earth, which took place in France during the Middle Ages. As a boy his ‘born’ feeling for art already comes to the fore. He is a celebrated sculptor, but is not happy because he cannot live together with his childhood girlfriend Marianne. When he sees Marianne again in difficult circumstances, he commits a serious crime. As a result of this he ends up in the dungeon. As a result of the exhaustion of his body he becomes more and more sensitive in his prison to the invisible world. The dark intelligences from life after death convince him to commit suicide, since they impress upon him that he will be released from his earthly suffering as a result of this. Suicide plunged him into deep misery. As a spirit he must experience that he could destroy his body, but not his own life. He lives on as a spirit, but is attached to his earthly body, because he wanted to bring forward his cosmic time for dying by himself. In the book Lantos describes the unbearable suffering which he has created for himself as a result of this. Earthly pain perishes into nothing in comparison with what he must experience by his suicide. And when his suffering came to an end, there was just one urge in him: to ensure that the human being on earth gets to know this spiritual reality in order to prevent unnecessary suffering. In the second part, which has the subtitle of ‘spiritual life’, Lantos describes his ‘walk’ over the earth, century after century, in order to get to know the human being and to preserve him from his ignorance. He describes how he learns to influence the people on earth as a spirit. By applying inspiration he can help many people and work as a ‘guardian angel’ for them. In addition, he sees that his own ‘aura of light’ increases as he gives more love and really means something for other people in their spiritual evolution. For nine centuries he studies human life on earth as spirit. He summarised the knowledge which he gathered during these centuries in ‘The Cycle of the Soul’. In this way he describes how the soul goes to the world of the unconscious in order to prepare itself for a new birth. In this world the emotional life comes to rest, so that the experiences of the past life do not disturb the development of the embryo in the new life. Lantos describes how the soul connects with the new cell at the moment of fertilisation. Lantos shows the reader how the human being lives in the consequences of his own past. In the book he analyses deeply ‘the law of cause and effect’. In this way he explains the origin of his own feeling for art, because he sees many previous lives in which he worked to elevate his capabilities in order to create something beautiful. Following the earthly being century after century he sees how our characteristics evolve as a result of actions from previous lives. Lantos describes how this law comes back to our life like a boomerang, until we have brought into harmony what we left behind in disharmony. Lantos is inwardly grateful when he gets to know the justice of this law. He experiences that the human being keeps on getting new life chances in order to work on his inner being and to expand his feeling to universal love. In the third part of the book Lantos gives us an intriguing image of the being of the twin soul. His inner bond with his childhood love Marianne is the result of many lives in which these twin souls were connected to each other and loved each other. He also feels that he will be connected again with her, in order to carry on together in love for eternity.
