Manny Salvator wakes up in New York City after another nightmarish dream of Christ’s crucifixion. He applies to and is accepted in a doctorate program at St. John’s University where he teaches theology for a stipend. Then he sees her and embarks on an unraveling series of events which land him in Chicago where he stumbles upon the mysterious Pier 12 slayings. People disappear without a trace as Manny finds himself caught in the middle of finding out who and what Pier 12 is and what it wants. But first he needs to find its location which proves Herculean until he meets people along the way with relevant backstories who aid him in his search. He stumbles across the name, “Matthias Fred.” Who is he and who is the woman he sees in New York who nefariously leads him to Chicago and, ultimately, his fate? The two are and have always been interconnected and Manny must figure it all out before Pier 12 moves to a new location in time and space causing Manny to relive this horrific experience seemingly forever… Jay Sabo proudly introduces his first novel, “Pier 12.” He has published poetry and has written short stories and 8 feature length screenplays. He has his Master’s Degree in Sports Management from East Stroudsburg University and is currently a supervisor at a Christian Academy in Pennsylvania where he also coaches the boys basketball team.
