Vanessa Simpkins tells how she went broke, then found a job selling mops that made her up to $900 per day. What is even more amazing about the story was that she was selling very expensive mops - $40 a pop, when you can buy mops all day long at the discount store for less than $5.But I doubt if you are very interested in selling mops. I am sure there are more difficult items to sell, but super expensive mops would probably rank right up there among the most difficult. The whole point of the book is that if Vanessa can make it big selling very expensive mops, then you should have a real easy time selling whatever product you believe in.You may be thinking that you are not into sales and in fact want to stay as far away from sales as you can. Unfortunately, sales has gotten a bad name. But no matter what your product or service, you need customers and therefore you must master the sales process. Most people have an incorrect idea of what sales is all about. Vanessa does a very good job of explaining what the old sales model was and how it has been replaced by a new sales model. Selling is not about pushing your product, talking the prospect into buying something they really do not want or cannot use. Selling is all about understanding the needs of the prospect and presenting your product/service in such a way that they immediately see the value and want to buy. Sales is really facilitating the buying process.The books give a great course on selling to consumers. She presents her 9 step "mop up on cash" selling process. It is a well thought out process that worked wonders for her. If you will take the time to understand the philosophy and implement the 9 steps from the proper mindset, you will be able to master the game of selling.But the book is also about a philosophy of life. From her writings, it is clear that Vanessa has a very high energy level and a very involved and active life. She shares her insights and discoveries about how to live a full and fully engaged life.The book is very short. You will be able to read it in a couple of hours. At the end of each lesson she presents, there is a call to action. She gives specific steps for the reader to implement. I would suggest the best way to get the maximum value would be to read the book through and then go back and read it again, the second time doing the action step exercises.There are a lot of extra bonuses that are available for those who purchase the book. One of the lessons she teaches is to give extra value. And she has created a lot of extra value that is available online.A very easy read with lots of great information about selling and more importantly about life. But that's not Vanessa's style, and once you've read her story, it's doubtful it'll be your story either.Vanessa draws heavily from the idea of the Law of Attraction.
